Wassup. Alejandro here. Originally from Jalisco, lived almost all my life in CDMX. Moved to Canada in 2008, bringing my roots, the family and the Mexican touch with me.
Always worked in the graphic and audiovisual world, but pandemic happened...
In 2023, opened Reparito House — a cozy Mexican restaurant in Potrero, Costa Rica, blending tradition and Pura Vida.
In 2025, I hit the streets with Chica Banda, a bold pink food trailer serving up Mexican Street Food with attitude and flavours from Mexico.
Now in 2026 we trade wheels for walls and open Chica Banda's first storefront in Oshawa, ON.
Súbanle, hay lugares!
Hola! Sofia here. Born in Mexico, made Canada home since 2008. Always on the move, always reinventing. Big believer in staying in motion and pushing forward.
Maybe food was always in my destiny: raised by a Greek chef and growing up in a house where big gatherings, good food, and loud laughs were the norm.
Behind the scenes, I’m the engine to Alejandro’s wild ideas and creative chaos, backing every dream with planning, logistics, numbers, and solid good vibes.
All while raising a very funny and unique family and holding down a full-time job... because why do one thing when you can do it all?
In 2025 we rolled out with Chica Banda, and in 2026 the first brick & mortar, turning Mexican Street Food into bold experiences, side by side with the crew, one taco at a time.
“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." - Calvin Coolidge
